FlightNetwork sells airline tickets, hotel room reservations, car rentals, travel packages, and other travel services. The company has also lowered the price of gasoline for automobiles at gas stations in Toronto, Ontario as a part of their promotional efforts. FlightNetwork was the second most visited travel website in Canada starting around 2009 with a five percent market share as of 2011. That year the company had four offices, two in Canada and two in India, and employed 260 people. In 2010 FlightNetwork became the online travel search engine for MSN.com. The company has an unlimited price drop protection, which refunds to the purchaser the difference between the initial purchase price of travel services and any lower price that may arise before the time of use.
Studies
The company has also released studies regarding international travel. For example, in 2010, FlightNetwork produced a study based on its sales data for MacLean's Magazine to determine the upward trend in flight tickets costs in the 2000s. In 2013, a study showed that flag jacking resulted in a material difference in the service travelers receive, depending on the nationality represented by their chosen false flag. They also take online surveys of their website visitors to determine the ranking of different travel-related subjects like airports or travel destinations and the company has released lists of the top travel bloggers nationally in Canada.
